Description UBA cohort will be coordinated by the School of Medicine, involving around 6 sub-investigators that are already following HIV patients (some of them who already acquired SARS-CoV-2) since the beginning of the pandemic in March. We already have the information of the approximately 100 patients, 15-20 of whom acquired SARS-CoV-2 during this period. The initial purpose was to register and follow-up the impact of SARS-CoV-2 in our HIV patients. Patients will be formally enrolled and registered in the ORCHESTRA cohort once the study protocol is approved by the Ethics Committee of the Faculty or its designated, and all patients agree to participate in the study, according to all the regulatory measures. One important issue is that we will need enough time to enroll them in this ORCHESTRA cohort once all the protocol and ethical documents are approved, hoping will be possible to fulfill these requirements before mid-2021. In other words, we are already following all these patients, but we - as I think will be the same for most centers- might have the necessary time for actually adding them to this study.
