In the 2 years, to determine the incidence of infection by SARS-CoV-2 in children managed in the centers associated with the research project, assessing whether it may produce seasonal outbreaks similar to those observed in infection by respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), influenza virus, or pandemics. There are also secondary studies: assessment of the influence of host genetic factors in infection by SARS-CoV-2, Assessment of the influence of host immune factors in infection by SARS-CoV-2 and comparative study of antigenic test in saliva, antigenic test in nasopharyngeal swab and RT-PCR in saliva sample versus RT-PCR in nasopharyngeal swab in pediatric population with symptoms compatible with SARS-CoV-2 infections. Vaccination (except SARS-COV-2) is included in the cohort description. |
